A Dortmunder style Pale Lager is all about balance, and the Otsukaresama is no exception. Composed of German hops with Canadian water. A long cold maceration process gives the beer a crisp and refreshing edge that finishes clean. Spice and citrus aromas, with a malty core.
- The name Otsukaresama is regularly used in Japanese culture, said at the end of the day and translated as, “good work.”
- Master Brewer of Godspeed, Luc “Bim” Lafontaine, first tasted a bottle of Duvel during Christmas when he was eleven, and that’s what sparked his fascination with beer.
- Goodspeed Brewery is a small brewery in a neighborhood of Toronto, and they want to keep it that way.
- The Dortmunder was a lager made for 19th Century industrial workers; the purpose was for it to be light enough to quench one’s thirst, but hearty enough to satisfy after a long day.
