A sessionable farmhouse ale that comes in at 4.2%, perfect for picnic lunches. Pen Druid’s “Titan,” Farmhouse Ale is brewed with malt, well water, and is wood-fired prior to being fermented with native wild yeast from their brewery. Pleasantly herbal and tart.
- Pen Druid was founded by three brothers, Lain, Van and Jennings Carney - who also happen to be a part of a Psychedelic Rock Band, called Pontiak.
- In the winter of 2015/2016, the brothers created their own cocktail of wild yeasts from the Virginia Piedmont, reflecting the unique terroir of the region.
- Farmhouse ales are traditional Summer beers that were brewed with the purpose of being enjoyed after planting, maintaining and harvesting crops.
