LONG ISLAND LAMBRUSCO = PERFECT PIZZA WINE.
It’s equal parts whole cluster Merlot, destemmed Cabernet Sauvignon, and destemmed Cabernet Franc. It was all fermented out dry and then we added local honey to start fermentation in bottle in early May 2021. We wanted that frizzante style of bubbles, which is our favorite type of bubbles. This was our idea of what a Long Island Lambrusco would taste like.
