80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, from Vincent Lacoste’s biodynamically farmed vineyards in Bordeaux. Firm black plum and fresh currant fruits, earthy whole-cluster freshness, a bit of charcoal, with honest tannins and brisk acidity. This will hold its own at a dinner party or serve chilled down to crush outside – whatever you prefer.
We spent over an entire year finding a perfect under $15 everyday red, and this is just that. Vincente Lacoste is a 6th generation winemaker and the Nono wines are a side project of his Château de Cranne estate wines. He's located on the right bank of the Garonne (Bordeaux) and certified organic.
