We don’t need no stinkin’ bubbles.
A spontaneously fermented still cider with a blend consisting of 75% Arkansas Black Apples, 25% York Apples. The folks at Penn Druid wanted to create a still version of this cider, because bubbles are overrated sometimes. For minimalists and pragmatists alike.
- Pen Druid was founded by three brothers, Lain, Van and Jennings Carney - who also happen to be a part of a Psychedelic Rock Band, called Pontiak.
- In the winter of 2015/2016, the brothers created their own cocktail of wild yeasts from the Virginia Piedmont, reflecting the unique terroir of the region.
- Arkansas Black apples are extremely tart, and require plenty of time before revealing vanilla and cinnamon aromas.
- Zen meditation.
- River walks.
- Fried chicken sandwich.
