This pear cider is serious. It’s neither cloying nor sugary sweet, and that’s because it was made from pristine, untouched pears from the San Juan Islands in Washington. Tess Bryant and Niccolo Coturri of Piquenique Wines don’t believe in putting any nonsense into their ciders, and like to vinify them in the traditional method.
  • Piquenique Wine’s inaugural vintage was 2020, and it was started by Tess Bryant - an importer - and Niccolo Coturri - a Natty wine legend.
  • These untouched, pristine pears were sourced from the Sandy Point farm on Waldron Island in Washington.
  • All ciders are fermented in the ancestrale method, and harken to the Pét Nats from the Loire Valley.
