Simply out of this world.
The Pen Druid “Jupiter,” hopped farmhouse ale is a blend of malt, organic raw wheat, and raw honey all fermented with the brewery’s own native house “flower” culture. Pen Druid is a Virginia-based brewery that focuses on crafting spontaneously fermented beers. Loads of citrus, herbaceous, and fruity aromas dance about in this complex, yet refreshing beer.
- Pen Druid was founded by three brothers, Lain, Van and Jennings Carney - who also happen to be a part of a Psychedelic Rock Band, called Pontiak.
- In the winter of 2015/2016, the brothers created their own cocktail of wild yeasts from the Virginia Piedmont, reflecting the unique terroir of the region.
- Farmhouse ales are traditional Summer beers that were brewed with the purpose of being enjoyed after planting, maintaining and harvesting crops.
Vibes with:
- Dance party to “Innocence,” by Pontiak
- Fresh, homemade bread.
- Stargazing.
