This Chardonnay is liquid gold.

A gourmand’s dream, made up of 100% Chardonnay farmed exclusively by James Jelks of Florèz Wines. These vines were harvested in 2019 and vinified as a separate Chardy apart from the original Moonmilk, and have aged beautifully in bottle for almost 2 years. Very rich and textured, with loads of crème brûlée aromas.

Florèz Wines was founded by James Jelks in 2017, and are all about prioritizing old world technique and sensibility in their wines.
After completing his degree in Oenology at UC Davis, James studied winemaking all over the world for 10 years before starting his own project in Santa Cruz.
The Chardonnay for this wine is a child of the ‘70s, and most of the vines have been ripped out in favor of other esoteric varietals like Savagnin.
