A story that began 3 generations ago...
The Ceglia agricultural company was founded in 1959, when Carlo's grandfather, Vincenzo Ceglia, decided, upon retirement, to retire to the countryside just outside Rome. It was he, together with grandmother Nina, who planted 14 hectares of DOC vineyards and 1 of olive groves, until he fell seriously ill and passed the task of continuing his work to his daughter (Angelina).

1982  Angelina decides to diversify the crops: gradually 7 hectares of kiwi were planted, leaving 4 hectares of vineyards. Things were not going well: more and more chemical fertilizers and more and more poisons and the products were substandard, despite the efforts. In the area someone enthusiastically practiced Steiner's method of agriculture, and it was there that Angelina met an absolutely special person such as Angelo Bertea, who would guide her in her new experience; she began to attend biodynamic agriculture courses and anthroposophy meetings with the prof. Sbardelli and Marcello Lo Sterzo. He understood that it was essential to heal the poisoned land and worked with confidence, sowing grasslands with 25 different types of herbs (replacing fertilizers), regularly applying preparations (dynamized by hand) and working the soil in a completely different way, with extreme delicacy without ever turning it over.
