The I Custodi Pistus is more than a racy, bold, full-throttle red. Crafted by one of Etna DOC’s legendary winegrowers, Salvo Foti. An otherworldly combination of power and weightlessness, this versatile wine can be served chilled or enjoyed as is.

Salvo Foti is one of the leading winemakers in the Etna DOC, and founded the Vigneri Project, a label where multiple generations of winegrowers share the viticultural secrets and traditions of this special region.
The Etna DOC is a volcanic island off the coast of Sicily whose star is rapidly on the rise within the Italian wine scene.
This wine is a blend of 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio, two indigenous red grapes to the region.
The vines thrive in the disease-resistant volcanic soils of the region, and there are many vines in Etna that are over 150 years old.
