Axel Prüfer is originally from East Germany, but moved to the Languedoc to make wine as a young man. Greatly influenced by Eric Pfifferling (natural wine demigod) he has been making energetic, zero sulfur wines since 2003. The estate takes its name from a French revolutionary song that translates "Time of Cherries."

This bottling is 100% Grenache from 35 year old vines and Axel's top cuvee. A stunner.
