100% Gamay du Beaujolais, from 50-year-old vines grown on alluvial soils. The parcel is owned by Vincent Marie and cultivated by Raphaël Beysang (formerly a vineyard worker for Patrick Meyer in Alsace). Grapes are hand harvested using small crates. Vinification by Vincent: whole bunches, a short maceration, blending of free run and press juices. Maturation in fibreglass vats. ZERO additives from vine to bottle, this is PURE NATURE.
CBGB stands for C'est Bon le Gamay du Beaujolais (That Beaujolais Gamay is Good!).
