Story: The ‘Vin de Frantz’ wines are clean, ever drinkable, and something to seasonably look forward to—all negoce fruit (organic), in this case from outside Azay-le-Rideau, and fermented in a combination of tank, barrique, and demi-muid.
Frantz Saumon was the first winemaker imported by Selection Massale and the cornerstone of the portfolio.
Based in Montlouis-Sur-Loire, he works about five different Chenin vineyards with a variety of soils and his wines notably express their terroir—from tuffeau to clay over limestone, silex, or a mix.
He his married to winemaker Marie Thibault, and they have been delightful hosts to Domestique staff for years.
