A single parcel bottling from Agnès, René, Sylvestre and Joseph Mosse. Le Rochefer is 1.66 hecare parcel planted in 1976 on schist, gravel, and quartz soils. Vinified in old oak barrels with 20mg of sulfur added at bottling.
Le Rouchefer 2017: Late April frost caused single parcels to suffer (including Rouchefer) in production size. However, what was harvested was very high quality, aromatic Chenin.
Le Rouchefer 2018: A rainy vintage for the first six months, but a fruitful harvest in the end meant the estate was able to produce its entire lineup for the first time in two years.
