The Azimut Blanc is a white field blend from the Penedès region of Spain. All vines are about 25 years old and were organically farmed. This wine is a mixture of Macabeu, Xarel-lo, Garnatxa, and Malvasia.
- The wine is made in the Penedes region by Assís Suriol and his family, who have been farmers since the 1600s.
- In 1890 the Phylloxera epidemic killed all the vines at Cellers de Can Suriol, and they had to regraft new vines on American rootstock ten years later.
- In the 1990s, the Suriol family made the switch over to Organic Viticulture, where they discontinued the use of pesticides, herbicides and implemented biodynamic viticultural practices.
