Hot vax summer in a bottle.
The Padovani sisters strike again! This is a skin-macerated blend of 50% Vermentino and 50% Malvasia, Trebbiano Toscano, and Grechetto. It’s full of lush, sun-soaked apples, chamomile tea and finely textured tannins.
- Twin sisters Margherita and Francesca Padovani started Fonterenza on the land surrounding their childhood farmhouse in Montalcino.
- ‘Le Ragazze’ translates to “the girls” and serves as a youthful homage to the girls and women of the Padovani family.
The Vermentino in this cuvee is vinified separately and spends 8 days on the skins. The other varieties are co-fermented and macerated for 14 days.
