‘Brutal de Jean Marc’ is produced from organic Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Riesling (40 years average age) rooted in clay and limestone. Fruit is hand-harvested, destemmed, and fermented with native yeasts. 18 days of skin maceration adds a gorgeous pink hue to the wine, as well as a grippy texture on the palate. Aging is done for 11 months on the fine lees in traditional Alsatian foudre. No sulfur added.
