An orange wine for everyone.

An approachable orange wine, the Cardedu ‘Bucce’ Bianco is a blend of the indigenous Sardinian varietals Vermentino, Ca[n]nonau, and Nasco. This bottle of liquid sunshine is Mirabelle plum, wild coastal fennel, and sea salt. Perfectly peppy and drinkable, with just enough backbone to stand up to heartier dishes.
  • This orange wine gets the name ‘Bucce’ from the Sardinian technique macerato sulle bucce, where the wine is macerated on its skins.
  • Granite soils give the 30 year old vines of Ca[n]nonau - Cardedu uses the old spelling with just one ‘n’ - and 13 year old vines of Nasco and Vermentino plenty of acidity and depth.
  • Sergio Loi is a 4th generation winemaker, and the property’s origins date back to the early 900s.
  • The Loi family dry farms with no herbicides or pesticides, and vinifies the wine with native yeasts.

Vibes with:

  • Seafood risotto.
  • Fritto Misto.
  • Trips to the beach (in antique cars.)
