Liquid rose quartz with some serious sparkle!
The Claus Preisinger Ancestral rosé Pét Nat is composed of 100% St. Laurent from the Burgenland region in Austria. The vines are between 18 and 23 years old, and thrive on a mixture of kiesel (gravel) and kalk (limestone) soils. A spontaneously fermented, low ABV rosé that drinks like your favorite crémant.
- Claus Preisinger is one of the rising star natural winemakers in Austria, and has been making wine on the Northern shore of Lake Neusiedl since 2002.
- He converted the vineyards and winery to biodynamic production in 2006 and farms Blaurfänkisch, Zweigelt, Grüner Veltliner, Saint Laurent and the occasional plantings of Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc.
- All of his wines are aged in amphora because he views it as a “conscious step back,” that focuses on just the soil and grapes.
Vibes with:
- White chocolate.
- Doughnuts of any and all kinds.
- Giving this to your friend who shades rosé (and watching them change their mind.)
