Production 2393 bottles
There are 3 differents spots : 0.40 ha of 40 years old wines near Villiers sur Loir, 0.07 of 80 years of wines in great form which never saw a hinch of chimical and soil work on horse only, and 0.37 ha of 16 years old wines. The last two parcels are situated in les Hauts de Montrieux, above the domaine.
Direct press vinification, fermentation started in fiber glass tank and then 50% put in 10 years old barrels to continue fermebtation and ageing for 12 months. The other 50% was left in fiber glass vat. One racking was made in September 2019 and blending of all at the same time. 2 gr/hl of SO2 was added.

A very light filtration , no chaptalisation, no yeast added
A full chenin, with hints of exotic and white fruit aromas
Very different from the chenin I am used to vinify but in adequation with the vintage. The balance is there but lot’s of richness. The acidity is there also to balance that richness as well as the light bitterness.
More a chenin to eat with !!
