The Ithybole Chenin Blanc is 100% estate-grown fruit, fermented and aged in tank, with just a bit of sulfur added at bottling. A beautifully textured expression of Chenin, with pristine minerality that cuts like glass. This wine is one of the many curated offerings from Domaine de Montrieux, based within the Loire’s Côteaux du Vendômois.
- Ariane Lesné has been working in wine since the early 1990s, after getting a degree in marketing for wine and spirits.
- She first trained in Burgundy, where she worked at Domaine de l’Arlot in Nuits Saint Georges.
- After working as a wine merchant for several years, Ariane returned to the vines in 2014 when she purchased Domaine de Montrieux from the Côteaux du Vendômois.
