The Les Pechers by Ludo Chanson is a demi-sec Chenin Blanc with 17 grams of residual sugar from a kiss of botrytis on the grapes. Ludo says the botrytis gives an extra depth and level of layers to Les Pechers. There’s still a savory quality to this wine, which balances out that extra fruitiness. An elegant classic.

Ludovic Chanson’s primary aim is to produce minimal intervention white wines out of the Loire Valley.
He left his job in pharmaceutical research in 2007 and worked for the renowned Vouvray producer, Vincent Carême prior to making his inaugural vintage in 2009.
The Chenin vines thrive on a mixture of soil and heavy clay with a deep limestone base.
