'Da Steppt der Bar' Pet-Nat 2020

$32.00

A Super Glou exclusive party Pet’Nat made from Silvaner and a little Weissburgunder. Silvaner, today is very rare in Württemberg but can express the subtleties of the terroir like no other grape variety. Silvaner from Dolde’s highest vineyards in Neuffen. The high location (up to 1600 feet) not only ensures many fog-free days in autumn, but also cool nights, because large temperature differences between day and night are important for the development of complex aromas and for maintaining freshness in the wine. Together with the strongly calcareous soils, this particular terroir is ideally suited to realizing Helmut Dolde’s vision of mineral white wines that combine a fine, yet powerful body with a multi-layered, finesse-rich coolness of fine fruit. Bottled without sulfur.

A former scientist, he’s constantly experimenting with synthetics that do less harm and are more biodegradable than treatments allowed under certain organic certifications.
