Gargamerlot is 70% Merlot and 30% Garganega co-fermented in fiberglass vats and refined in steel tanks. The wine is unfiltered, no temp control, and with no added sulphite.
Only 600 bottles produced! The grapes were sourced from the >.5 ha private vineyard belonging to the winemaker Edoardo Sacchetto, where the land is worked by just him and his parents. No organic certifications yet, but as it's his first vintage, he is working towards it and is applying biodynamic practices throughout the vineyard. He raises rabbits, Olive trees, cannabis, recently planted fruit trees, and has several existing vegetable gardens on the property.
