Liquid proof that Greco CAN be great.
This elegant Italian white is composed of 100% Greco from one of the highest altitude vineyards in Campania, a vineyard in Santa Paolina at 650 meters above sea level. The vines were harvested by hand, fermented on their skins for four days prior to being aged in old barrels of chestnut. An intensely mineral, elegant yet smoky wine with loads of complexity.
- Cantina Giardino was founded by Antonio and Daniela De Gruttola, who sought to rehabilitate abandoned old vineyards in the hills of Irpinia.
- All vines thrive in volcanic soil and are organically-farmed, designed with low yields in mind.
- Greco is an Italian grape of Greek origin.
