This stunning expression of Carignan from the Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert IGP was crafted from 50+ year old Carignan vines. Winemaker Pierre Jéquier and his wife, fellow winemaker Blandine Chauchet, have joined forces in creating this biodynamic, unfiltered and raw expression of the grape. A leathery and spicy ambrosia with plenty of attitude!

Pierre Jéquier, a former Architect from Switzerland, created Mas Foulaquier in 1998.
The property consists of 8 hectares of vines that are more than 25 years of age.
His wife joined the team in 2003, and she brought her 3 hectares of 50+ year old vines of Grenache and Carignan.
The terroir within the lieu-dit of Les Tonillières is perfectly suited for Grenache and Carignan.
