Italian pilsner is a modern style with origins in Northern Italy where it was concepted as German pilsner with an English hopping schedule. The style takes its cues from Italian cooking where simple, fresh ingredients create fantastic flavor. In that vein, we brewed with only two types of malts, pilsner and Munich, and two types of hops, German Select hop pellets and Chinook whole hop cones, and crafted this full flavored lager.
