Macvin du Jura is a sweet, fortified wine made by adding grape spirit to freshly harvested and partially fermented juice. The Bottes Rouges Kilt is composed of ⅔ directly pressed Chardonnay and ⅓ Eau de Vie Marc. The wine was aged for one year in tank. A true curiosity from a singular place in the world -- the pairing options are endless!

Jean Baptiste Menigoz began his career as a teacher in Arbois working with special needs children while making natural wine with Raphael Monnier in his spare time.
Eventually, he took an apprenticeship with the legendary Jura producer Stéphane Tissot, and made the transition to winemaking full time.
Bottes Rouges is made up of the dynamic duo, Jean-Baptiste Menigoz and Florien Kleine Snuverink, a former restaurant manager turned vigneron.
Bottes Rouges is home to organically-farmed vines of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Poulsard, Trousseau and Savagnin.
