The Hofgut Falkenstein Landwein pet nat is composed of 100% Weissburgunder - Pinot Blanc - and done in the ancestrale method. The wine was partially fermented in cask, then bottled and released without disgorgement.

Erich Weber of Hofgut Falkenstein is known for crafting some of the best traditional Rieslings in the Saar.
Aside from Riesling, the family has plots of Pinot Blanc - Weissburgunder and Pinot Noir - Spätburgunder.
The Webers work with some of the finest, most underrated vineyards within the Konz Valley, and there are a variety of soils including gray slate, blue slate, red slate, quartz and green basalt.
