A diamond in the rough.
The Intro 2020 is a lean and racy wine from Malokarpatská, Slovakia. It is composed of 100% Pesecká Leánka, one of Michael Bažalík’s favorite varieties. The wine spent three weeks on the skins, then rested for over a year in barrel. A rustic, mineral-driven wine with loads of saline and meyer lemon qualities.
- Mical Bažalík lives with his family in the middle of his vineyards on the outskirts of the wine village Svaty Jur, a stone’s throw from Bratislava.
- Pesecká Leánka is a white varietal that originates from Romania, that produces high acid wines.
- Mical’s winery has a treehouse on site, and guests who visit can spend a night there amongst the stars.
Vibes with:
- Crusty bread and homemade butter.
- Handmade wooden chairs.
- Autumn camping trips.
