Transcendent Lebanese Rosé
Not “just another rosé” in the least! The Mersel phoenix Merwah Field Blend 2021 Rosé from Lebanon is made from a blend of 20% Sangiovese and 80% indigenous Merwah vines that are over 150 years old. A savory - yet light and airy - rosé with a slight chance of bubbles!
- Mersel Wines is the brainchild of Eddie Chami, an Australian born Lebanese winemaker who believes in highlighting the indigenous varietals from the region.
- The vines grow within the Dimane region of the Qannboubine Valley in North Lebanon.
- The wine was fermented on its skins for 4 weeks and cold stabilized naturally from the ambient temperature in the vineyard.
- The Phoenix is the national bird of Lebanon.
