Grown above the sandstone quarry at the Bassi Vineyard, this block has an ocean view. 1 ton of Pinot Gris was picked with ½ ton of Pinot Noir. The Pinot Gris was all whole-cluster and we destemmed the Pinot Noir on top of the Gris. The wine was fermented for 11 days, then gently pressed in the wooden basket press. Bottled 8 month later without fining or filtering.
