“Pinard,” is French slang for red table wine, and we find the name oddly fitting. This quirky, crushable wine is a blend of 55% Picpoul and 45% Pinot Noir sourced from Yolo County and the Santa Cruz Mountains in Northern California. The ultimate pretense-free, crushable Summer red.

Florèz Wines was founded by James Jelks in 2017, and are all about prioritizing old world technique and sensibility in their wines.
After completing his degree in Oenology at UC Davis, James studied winemaking all over the world for 10 years before starting his own project in Santa Cruz.
Picpoul is a lean white grape commonly enjoyed in the Languedoc.
The term “Pinard” originated from the rationed wine in WWI that French infantrymen loved so much.
