A blend of 88% Zinfandel and 12% Vermentino from the North Ponderosa Vineyards in the Sierra Foothills, this peppy bottle of pink oozes plenty of charm! A perfectly balanced wine that is a mixture of fruity, savory, and fun. Watermelon agua fresca and lemon curd kissed with some dusty prickly pear aromas.

“What does California taste like?” That’s the question that inspires Martha Stoumen, a self-funded first generation winemaker. She asks herself this every day as she strives to craft wines that are unexpected takes on California classics.
Martha’s wines are crafted in a winery in Sebastopol winery shared with friends; she looks for the healthiest fruit she can find.
The Zinfandel was pressed immediately then aged in stainless steel; the Vermentino was foot tread with some skin contact and aged in neutral vessels on fine lees.
