Ron’s Not Bitter is an English Bitter that’s, well, not bitter. The style in and of itself is a bit of a misnomer, as most English Bitters are actually malty, approachable beers. This refreshing little beer by Washington-based Garden Path Fermentation is no exception.
- Garden Path was started by Amber Watts and Ron Extract, who moved to Washington in 2016 after working at Jester King Brewery in Austin, Texas.
- Ron’s Not Bitter was fermented exclusively with native yeast and is a Pacific Northwest take on a classic UK-style bitter.
- Garden Path is all about making hyperlocal beers, using Pacific Northwest hops, and Skagit-grown grain.
