100% Sangiovese. Fonterenza selects vines from its estate Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino vineyard for earlier harvest for their rosato (before the 2018 vintage, it was made from purchased fruit). The fruit is direct-pressed and the juice macerated overnight with the skins; fermentation is with indigenous yeasts in vat. The wine does not go through malo and is aged in stainless steel.
