The Stella Maris Sauvignon Blanc is composed of fruit from 40-year-old vines purchased from Mikaël Bouges’s small, 8-hectare estate in the Faverolles-sur-Cher in the Touraine. The wine was directly pressed, fermented, and aged in fiberglass vats on the lees. A slender, elegant Sauvignon Blanc with star-bright fruit, and plenty of refreshing acidity!

Noëlla Morantin was originally from Brittany and started making wine in the Touraine in 2008; wine is one of her obsessions and after several years she was hired as the owner of Les Bois Lucas.
In 2016 Noëlla purchased four hectares to produce her single parcel Sauvignons and she owns 6 hectares total.
All of her vines are farmed organically and vinified without intervention or manipulation in large wooden vats.
Her wines are declassified because she doesn’t want to deal with AOC politics.
