Fifth generation farmer and winemaker Janko Stekar has been producing stellar skin-contact natural wines in the rolling Goriska hills of Slovenia, right over the Italian border from Oslavia, for 16 years. Sivi is one of Stekars line of fresh wines with less than a day of skin-contact maceration time.

Organic certified grapes go through 12 hours of skin-contact maceration, then gently pressed. The wine ferments and ages in INOX steel tanks until it gets bottled in May.
