Smithereens is an 80/20 split of Muscat and Pinot Gris. Though the grapes were fermented separately, both were foot stomped and fermented on their skins for two weeks. The Muscat was finished in stainless steel, and the Pinot Gris was finished in neutral oak for weight and texture. A saline-driven orange, with plenty of florality from the Muscat.
