Gloria Garriga and her daughter, Berta of Els Jelipins believe that wine is a liquid journal of moments in time, and the wines they create capture exactly that. This Catalonian Orange Wine from the Penedes region of Spain is composed of 80 year old vines of Sumoll and Montonega in equal parts. The Sumoll was direct-pressed as a blanc de noirs, and the Montònega rested for 75 days on its skin. The wine was aged in stainless steel to preserve its brilliant, high def fruit qualities.

Gloria and her daughter created Els Jelipins in 2001 because they desired to live in the hills of Font-Rubí and enjoy a life of moderation where they can connect to nature.
Their ethos is about minimal intervention farming methods, and an awareness of natural cycles.
They have strong relationships with local growers, and try to keep intervention as minimal as possible.
The vines thrived on a mixture of clay and limestone soils.
