Old school Prosecco vibes.
Racing Gloves is composed of 70% Pinot Blanc and 30% Chardonnay that was done in the “col fondo” style, like old school Prosecco. The wine was refermented in the bottle for fizz, but not disgorged, resulting in a slightly cloudy wine that’s rustic in the best way. Not Champagne - but it’s chill, it’s not trying to be. Crisp, and juicy, with plenty of edge.
- Championship Bottle is a winery working in the Willamette Valley of Oregon inspired by the wines of Friuli in Northeast Italy.
- Oregon’s cool climate allows this company to produce mostly white wines with texture and bright minerality.
- Col Fondo is a funkier style of prosecco that is very rare, and experiences secondary fermentation in bottle.
