Take a walk on the wild side with this smoky, spicy island red.
Envinate Tanagan Tenerife Tinto 2021 is a field blend of native red grape varieties that thrive in the volcanic soils of the Canary Islands. Though some varietals are unidentified, Listan Negro, Listan Gaucho, and Malvasia Negro would be the big three. The wine was fermented with ambient yeasts, and 30% of it was whole cluster fermented in open plastic tubs and concrete tanks to keep it bright. The resulting wine is smoky and spicy, with dark berry aromas.
