This high toned, savory mountain blend hails from the Valle d ‘Aosta - a mountainous range in Northern Italy. An indigenous blend of 80% Petit Rouge together with a varying amount of Vien de Nus, Doucet, Fumin and Mayolet, we think it's the perfect mix of Italian rusticity and Alpine tension. Crafted by the Grosjean family who have been making wines for generations within a small hamlet of Ollignan within the Valle d’Aosta. The estate lies on the mountainside in the most Northeastern region of Italy where they raised cattle and cultivated grapes and chestnuts.
