Sip on Sicilian sunbeams.
This solar-driven, Sicilian field blend of 75% Nero d’Avola, 5% Grillo, 5% Frappato, 5% Insolia, 5% Catarratto and 5% Perricone is fruity in an all caps sense of the word. The 10 year old vines thrived on chalky soils, and were macerated on the skins for 8 days prior to being fermented at room temperature. Picture wild cherries, fresh pomegranate and plenty of salty structure.
