A vin de soif with some serious swag! This 95% Cabernet Franc with a smidgeon of Merlot is thirst quenching af, but not to be underestimated as your average, run-of-the-mill glou. For the 2017 vintage, it was bottled without a label; because it’s what’s on the inside that counts.

The Despagnes have worked as vignerons in Bordeaux for three centuries, and Maison Blanche is currently helmed by Nicolas who is striving to get their Biodynamic Certification.
They’re all about keeping things “old school,” over at Maison Blanche, with native fermentations and using very little sulfur.
The estate is in Saint-Émilion, on the Right Bank and features heavier percentages of Merlot and Cabernet Franc in their wines.
