Cab Franc and Blaufrankisch were foot treaded and macerated for 4 days and pressed over whole clusters of Pinot Noir. The little dense clusters bobbed in the juice like apples, fermenting inside the unbroken skins.
This bouquet is dominated by pomegranate and blue fruits, with hints of lemon pepper, fresh rain, and wet stone. Leads into sweet red fruit on the palate, followed by forest floor, white pepper, and wormwood integrated into fine tannins and crunchy acidity.
Sadly, this will be the last vintage of this wine.
