2023’s Pantone color in a bottle.
Channel a major magenta mood this year with Lightwell Survey’s “Strange Collapse” Rosé! This blend of 49% Vidal blanc, 31% Petit Manseng, 8% Chambourcin, 8% Noiret and 4% Traminette is a hybrid lover’s haven! A combination of direct press, whole cluster fermentation, carbonic maceration with a bit of malo and lees aging yields a delicious, subtle, strawberry and watermelon-infused bevvie with lively acidity.
- The folks at Lightwell Survey aim to showcase the distinctive Virginia terroir and aim for the bullseye but prefer to land slightly off center.
- The team consists of Sebastian Zutant, Ben Jordan, Jay Zutant, Julian Caustrita and John DeNapoli.
- The fruit was sourced from Sherman Ridge, Bluestone, Rainbow Hill, Mowry Spring, and Barren Ridge Vineyards within the Shenandoah Valley.
- The label is a representation of what it’s like to survive in a world that’s busier and more interconnected than ever – “If this world is gonna burn, then everyone should get a chance to light it up!”
