La Ciderie du Golfe 2020 X-tra is about as dry a cider as it gets. Composed of a melange of apples ranging from sweet to sour, this cider has finished fermenting all of its sugars, yielding a bottle of bone dry goodness. A broad and powerful expression of cider, with loads of tannin.
- La Ciderie Du Golfe was founded by Marc Abel and François Desforges, at the ages of 47 and 51.
- All of their orchards are located on the Bretagne Coast and the plots are grown without any chemicals, and sheep and donkeys graze on the property.
- Their orchard has 5.5 hectares of local apples including Guillevic, Douce Coet, Douce Moen, Marie Ménard and Judor apples.
