This cuvée is made from vines that sit up on high terraces of Malbec (Côt) from Simon Busser’s vineyards just outside Cahors in France. The vines are 30 years old and thrived on clay and limestone soils, prior to being vinified in concrete for 5 months. Zero sulfur was added.

Simon Busser is a winemaker’s winemaker; and the folks over at Percy Selections discovered his wines after seeing his bottles on numerous shelves of the vignerons they represent.
Simon farms 7-hectares of Malbec, Merlot, and Gamay along the Loire River and practices non intervention farming and winemaking with a horse and plow.
Stylistically, Simon is all about ripe grapes, significant extraction, and elevage in large wood or concrete vessels.
