The Rosa Petsovitz Rosé was inspired by Franz Reinhard Weninger’s grandmother. This blend of Syrah, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir and Blaufränkisch is sourced from parcels throughout Hungary and Austria. A dark, savory rosé that operates beyond borders.
- Franz Weninger Jr comes from a line of winemakers who prioritize organic farming and revitalizing local grapes.
- Because the property is located at the southern end of the Neusiedlersee in Burgenland, the team is able to purchase property in Hungary.
- The Syrah is sourced from plots of Gneiss soils in Hungary, and the Zweigelt, Blaufrankisch are sourced from loam.
- The Pinot Noir is sourced from limestone plots from Austria.
